All exhibitions are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs for the disabled and elderly visitors are available for use free of charge at the Zoo office lobby.

There are 5 toilets available for visitor use throughout the zoo. On arrival, the nearest visitor toilet is located in front of the main entrance.

Maps of the zoo are provided at the Tourist Information Center by the main entrance and at the zoo entrance upon request.

Prayer rooms for muslims are provided near the zoo main entrance. Facilities for ablution are available inside the prayer rooms.

Tired of walking? Step aboard the zoo tram for free and experience the exciting adventure while listening to narratives about our interesting animals. Tram services are available from 8:30 a.m to 6:00 p.m for Zoo Taiping and 8:00 p.m to 11:00 p.m for Night Safari.

To help you enjoy the zoo on an exclusive basis, a buggy ride can give you a chance to connect with the animals on a closer level. Tickets can be purchased at the ticketing counter at the tram station at only RM 10.00 for adults and RM 6.00 for children. Buggy timing: Zoo Taiping: 8:30 a.m – 5:00 p.m Night Safari: 8:00 p.m -11:00 p.m
