The White Rhinoceros is the second largest land mammal after the elephant. It is less aggressive than the Black Rhinoceros which is also native to Africa. The male White Rhino is usually solitary, but the females often live in groups. They are herbivores that love to graze on the savanna grasses. The White Rhinoceros is both diurnal and nocturnal. It has poor vision but it has acute senses of smell and hearing.
