Range
This species is found in Indonesia (Sumatra), Malaysia (Peninsular Malaya), Thailand. It is also found scattered through Peninsular (West) Malaysia, but concentrated in the northern states, especially Kelantan, Perlis and Perak.
The serow is a solitary and territorial creature. It has clearly visible glands in front of the eyes. Its tears are rubbed on the branches or stones to mark his area.
