The southern cassowary is distributed in Indonesia, New Guinea and northeastern Australia.

The cassowary is the second largest bird in the world after the Ostrich. This flightless bird, is found in Papua, New Guinea and Australia. There are three different species of cassowaries alive today. These birds are notoriously aggressive, and their kicks can be quite dangerous.
